Summary: Structural Engineer with a P.E. license to inspect and assess storm-damaged commercial and residential buildings, write detailed reports, and submit findings to insurance companies.
Job Requirements:
P.E. license in structural or civil engineering. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Physical capability to climb 30-foot roofs at 40-degree angles and enter crawl spaces and attics. Experience inspecting roofs and foundations of commercial and residential buildings. Knowledge of assessing damage caused by storms, including tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding, and fires.Preferred Skills:
Experience writing detailed engineering reports. Familiarity with insurance claims processes.Job Responsibilities:
Inspect roofs, foundations, and structures of storm-damaged commercial and residential buildings. Assess damage caused by storms, including trees on houses, foundation issues, and other structural concerns. Write detailed reports summarizing findings to be submitted to insurance companies. Travel as needed to assigned locations, including North Carolina (Charlotte), Chicago, IL, Tampa, FL, Ohio (Cleveland, Toledo), and Michigan (Detroit area).Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
