Gain real-world experience on exciting projects by applying standard engineering techniques and procedures on a variety of bridge types which may include steel girder, prestressed concrete beam, cable supported, and buried structures for highway and railway projects.
Work under the guidance and direct supervision of a Professional Engineer to assist in checking drawings and calculations, developing material lists and calculating quantities, reviewing construction submittals, inspecting and assessing structures and using structural design software
Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs
May also include field services for site visits and NBIS inspection activities
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred QualificationsPrefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0 GPA
Interest in Transportation and Structural Engineering
Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry, such as MicroStation or AutoCAD
Preference given to local candidates
Required QualificationsCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering programAttention to detailPossess strong problem-solving and communication skillsBasic Microsoft Office skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
