Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic II to assemble and fit detail parts and structures, ensuring defect-free assemblies through precise drilling and riveting tasks.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required Ability to read and interpret blueprints, 6" scale, and perform basic shop math Graduates of the Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program may receive one year of experience credit

Preferred Skills:

1 year of related structural assembly experience preferred Experience with Solumina and Smarteam is a plus

Responsibilities:

Assemble and fit detail parts and structures, performing varied drilling and riveting tasks Use portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, drills, countersinks for structural assemblies Follow blueprints, work orders, and sketches for sequence of operations Inspect all work to ensure defect-free assembly prior to final inspection Keep accurate logs such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, and PCOs Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps for precise assembly Maintain a clean work area in support of the company's 5S Program

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
