Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic II with experience in structural assembly, blueprints interpretation, and composite materials.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
2 years related structural assembly experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Skilled in close tolerance work and use of special tools and equipment
Proficient in basic shop math and using mathematical formulas
Experience working with composite resins and materials
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam
Responsibilities:
Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures
Rivet structural assemblies using portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, rivets
Remove fasteners without damaging structure
Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches to determine sequence of operations
Ensure defect-free assembly prior to final inspection
Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs)
Align and assemble parts using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, fasteners
Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO)
Support Lean Activities
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
