Structural Mech II

Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic II to perform assembly, fitting, and riveting operations for structural assemblies ensuring compliance with requirements.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

2 years related structural assembly experience.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Skilled in close tolerance work and use of special tools/equipment.

Proficient in basic shop math, including fractions and decimals.

Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.

Ability to work with composite resins and materials.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures.

Conduct varied drilling and riveting operations using required tools.

Remove fasteners without damaging structure.

Read work orders, blueprints, sketches to determine sequence of operations.

Check all work ensuring defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.

Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs).

Align/assemble parts using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, fasteners.

Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO).

Support Lean Activities.



Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
