Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic II with expertise in structural assembly, blueprint reading, and use of special tools for a 12-month contract.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
2 years related structural assembly experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Skilled in close tolerance work and use of special tools and equipment
Proficient in basic shop math and scale reading
Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred
Ability to work with composite resins and materials
Responsibilities:
Perform assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting operations ensuring parts/assembly meet requirements
Rivet structural assemblies using required tools (e.g. portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills)
Remove fasteners without damaging structure
Read work orders, blueprints, sketches to determine sequence of operations and hole pattern for rivets
Check all work ensuring defective-free assembly prior to final inspection
Maintain logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs)
Align and assemble parts using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, fasteners
Make repairs per DMTs, MRRs, PCOs ensuring installations meet conformity standards
Support Lean Activities
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
