Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic III to perform assembly and fitting of detail parts, structures, and varied drilling and riveting operations.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
3 years related structural assembly experience
Must be able to read a scale and perform basic shop math
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Skilled in close tolerance work with knowledge of special tools and equipment
Ability to work with composite resins and materials
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Solumina and Smarteam
Q-stamp certification
Job Responsibilities:
Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts/structures; ensure parts/assembly meet requirements
Rivet structural members using required tools (e.g., riveting guns, pneumatic drills)
Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, operation sheets for rivet operations
Instruct/assist team members in interpreting blueprints, drawings, engineering orders
Maintain/use logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs)
Align/assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, pins, clamps
Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Production Change Orders (PCO)
Support Lean Activities
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
