Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic III with expertise in structural assembly, blueprint interpretation, and use of special tools and equipment.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
3 years related structural assembly experience
Ability to read a scale and perform basic shop math
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
Skilled in close tolerance work
Knowledge of using special tools and equipment
Ability to use mathematical formulas to solve dimensional problems
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam
Q-stamp certification
Experience with composite resins and materials
Job Responsibilities:
Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, drilling, riveting operations
Use tools such as portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers
Remove fasteners without damaging structures
Read work orders, blueprints, sketches to determine operations sequence
Instruct team members on interpreting blueprints and engineering orders
Maintain logs and records like MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs
Align and assemble parts using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps
Make repairs as per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO)
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
