We are seeking an experienced Structural Team Leader/Project Manager to guide our Water & Wastewater Structural Group across HRG’s footprint (Harrisburg, PA, York, PA, Cranberry Township, PA, King of Prussia, PA, Lehigh Valley, PA, State College, PA, and Morgantown, WV). In this role, you will provide leadership both in-person and virtually, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and professional growth. You will be instrumental in ensuring successful project execution, optimizing resources, and strengthening client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development: Coach, lead, and inspire team members to reinforce a culture of ownership, engagement, and professional growthProject & Resource Management: Drive superior project execution, cross-service collaboration, and workload prioritization while monitoring project budgets and utilizationClient Relations: Support efforts to maintain long-term client partnerships by delivering high-quality service and ensuring client satisfactionStrategic Collaboration: Work with peers, Group Managers, and Service Group team members to drive budget management, technical direction, and operational efficiency RequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, or other related degreeCommonwealth of Pennsylvania Professional Engineering license with an ability to obtain one in other statesProven experience in project management and delivering projects on time and within budget, ideally 15+ years. Candidates with less than 15 years of experience may be considered if they demonstrate substantial success in the field.Project experience including experience in at least one of the following:
o Municipal Water and Wastewater process facilities
o Industrial Facilities
o Government and Municipal Buildings
o Commercial Buildings
o Structural Restorations
Strong knowledge of structural engineering concepts including the design of steel, concrete, and masonryExperience with cast-in-place concrete tank design is a plus Knowledge of, RISA-3D, AutoCAD and Revit is a plusAbility to build and maintain strong, collaborative teams, with a strong emphasis on coaching, mentoring, and fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization virtually, by telephone, or in-personDemonstrates strong leadership, communication, planning and organizational skills Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc.Ability to travel daily/overnight (on average 20-30% of the time) by car, train, and/or air as appropriate Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
