Structural Welder
**Job Title: Structural Welder** **Job Description** The Structural Welder will be responsible for welding and assembling skids for modular cooling systems. This role involves welding on I-beams and other structural pieces to create large skids. The candidate must be able to pass a 3G and 4G MIG root with Flux pass on a 1/2 inch carbon plate weld test. **Responsibilities** + Weld and assemble skids for modular cooling systems. + Perform welding on I-beams and other structural pieces to create large skids. + Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications. + Use MIG and Flux welding techniques for vertical and overhead welding. + Perform grinding and gouging as needed. **Requirements** + 5+ years of experience in structural welding. + Proficiency in MIG and Flux welding techniques. + Experience in vertical and overhead welding. + Experience in grinding and gouging. + Ability to pass a 3G and 4G MIG root with Flux pass on a 1/2 inch carbon plate weld test. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience in welding skids. + Experience operating an overhead crane. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive and dynamic work environment where your skills and experience will be valued. The work schedule includes Monday to Friday and some Saturdays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
