PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a Welding Technician in Clayton, NC, working on modular base frames and walk-in enclosures. What You’ll Be Doing

Laying down strong, clean welds on steel and aluminum using MIG, TIG, and Arc.

Cutting steel like a pro with oxy-acetylene torches and plasma arc equipment.

Shaping and prepping materials using press brakes, drill presses, and shears.

Reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions to create precision work.

Staying safe and compliant with ISO9001:2015 quality standards.

Inspecting your own work to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.

Keeping your work area clean and organized—because a pro always takes care of their space.

What It Takes to Succeed

At least three years of welding experience (MIG, TIG, and Arc).

Hands-on experience with oxy-acetylene cutting and fabrication tools.

Strength and stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on your feet for long shifts.

A sharp eye for detail and quality—no sloppy welds here.

Ability to pass a welding test and follow all safety guidelines.

Must bring your own welding helmet and essential tools.

Valid driver’s license, background check, and drug screening required.

Bonus Skills That Make You Stand Out

3-5 years of structural steel welding experience.

AWS D1.1 certification and experience with weld testing methods.

Familiarity with shear, brake, framing, and laser measuring tools.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
