**Job Title: Structures Mechanic** **Job Description** Working in an MRO environment, the Structures Technician will disassemble, repair, fabricate parts as necessary, reassemble, install, and document maintenance actions on heavy-lift helicopters, primarily Boeing CH-47 airframes (Model 107, Model 234 firefighting, and heavy lift utility). This role primarily supports full rebuilds and sometimes supports fleet heavy maintenance checks. **Responsibilities** + Review task cards and read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints. + Use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools to remove, inspect, fabricate replacement parts, repair, reassemble, and document maintenance actions. + Frequently remove and install standard and blind rivets, drilling/reaming/riveting to close tolerance. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of experience in aircraft sheet metal structures repair. + Experience fabricating parts. + Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machine tools. + Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints. + Experience with standard and blind rivets, drilling, reaming, and riveting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience repairing structures of CH-47 airframes preferred. + Must be a US Person per client ITAR regulations. + Willingness to submit to testing on the first day, including installing fasteners, proper countersink depth, precise drilling, and measuring bend dimensions with an understanding of 'Bend Allowance' or 'Bend Deduction'. **Why Work Here?** This is an opportunity to work with a leading heavy lift helicopter company.
