**Job Title: Structures Mechanic - Components Shop**
**Job Description**
+ We are seeking qualified Structures Mechanics for the repair and overhaul of aircraft assemblies, including cowlings, inlets, leading edges, ailerons, and other components. This role is based in a large specialized component MRO building in Everett, WA.
+ Primary tasks involve working on doors and horizontal stab skin panels, replacing skin panels with solid rivets and hilocks, and reworking dents. Technicians will use various tools to maintain high precision, particularly when drilling out fasteners to prevent overlarge holes.
+ The position requires a commitment to maintaining the schedule and urgency of production.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair and overhaul aircraft assemblies including cowlings, inlets, leading edges, and ailerons.
+ Work on doors and horizontal stab skin panels, removing and replacing skin panels with solid rivets and hilocks.
+ Rework dents and trim away metal material using die grinders and DA sanders.
+ Use drills, bucking bars, rivet guns, socket wrenches, hi-lok pliers, and other tools to overhaul cowlings and maintain production schedules.
+ Drill out and replace hi-loks and other blind fasteners with high precision.
+ Attend orientation and safety training during the first week.
**Essential Skills**
+ 4+ years of precision aircraft structures drilling and blind riveting in an MRO environment.
+ Experience with MRO on Boeing models if 1-2 years of experience.
+ Ability to remove rivets, drill/ream/countersink/rivet from drawings without close instruction.
+ Must have minimum hand tools (wrenches, hi-lok pliers, socket set, bucking bars).
+ Willingness to wear a half-mask respirator (clean-shaven; respirator fit done during 1st week orientation).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ A&P License.
+ Experience doing skin splice repairs.
+ Experience using skin wedges to separate and/or relocate skin panels.

**Work Environment**
The job is located in a component repair shop within a large MRO facility. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with potential shifts from 0530 - 1600 or 1530 - 430p. The first week will consist of ATS and customer-specific training on the day shift. There is also a 2nd shift from 1300 - 2130, and a weekend shift may be implemented within the next several weeks or months. Overtime is available, with a typical workweek being around 50 hours.

This is a Contract position based out of Everett, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $50.00
