Overview
The Sheet Metal Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of aircraft structures. This position involves performing aviation and backshop structural repairs and modifications on a variety of Boeing military aircraft.
Completing work orders and performing general repairs under the direct supervision of a lead techNot working on aircraft - instead, will be working on a bench repairing, modifying, refurbishing, and fabricating sheet metal structural assemblies and sub-assembliesDay to day duties include working with a variety of fasteners, riveting, bending, countersinking, and precision drillingExamples of structural components being worked on include landing gear doors, ailerons, flaps, etcShift
6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday)Overtime: could be able to do 2 hours a day of overtime, but is not promised or requiredPay
$30-38/hr (depending on experience)
Per diem for non-local candidates
Work Environment
Will be working in a nice, large, climate controlled backshop. 40 employees total, everyone knows everyone, great work culture!

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00
