Student Affairs Coordinator

Job Description:

The Student Affairs Coordinator provides support for the management of undergraduate and doctoral programs in the Department of Computer Science. The incumbent is instrumental in recruiting a diverse body of students to both programs and provides administrative support to faculty, lecturers as well as their students and research staff.

Education and Experience:

Associate's degree with 3 years of related experienced or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Position requires excellent communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to work with a diverse group of faculty, staff and students.Excellent computer skills required; adaptability to new programs and online tools a must.  Comfort with Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Microsoft Excel, as well as Gmail, Google Docs is necessary.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion is essential.Demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment.
