Position Availability: Immediately, with a possibility of running through Summer 2025 Position Title: Student Assistant / Frontline Support Requisition Number: 0406073584 Location New York City Position Type: Student Department: PSD/Dean's Office Responsibilities: Job Description:Continuing & Professional Education (CPE) at Parsons offers non-degree programs for adult and K-12 students in art and design disciplines. Currently over 400 courses serve students of varying ages (youth, teen, and adult) and pathways (certificate, non-degree credit, online learning) in the fall, spring and summer semesters.
This position will assist in enhancing the student experience which is primarily focused on providing prospective students and their families with the information needed to successfully enroll in our summer programs. The Student Assistant reports to the Assistant Director of Operations and Planning, Pre-College and Summer Programs.

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will provide friendly, helpful and accurate information to prospective students about Pre-College and Summer programs and offerings Respond promptly to incoming email inquiries containing general questions and escalate concerns Provide assistance and navigation to information published on our website, including

program details as requested Data entry to record student information pertaining to Summer program enrollment Assist the Summer Programs team with events including setup, welcoming and assisting guests on campus and virtually Additional duties as assigned
Hourly Rate: $17.00-19.00/hour, hourly commensurate with experience

Work Mode: Hybrid/Split – Employees hired for this position have regularly scheduled, consistent percentage of time on campus (ex 1-4x/week) and also work some of the time remotely. Minimum Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially written Punctual, responsible, and discreet with a professional and friendly demeanor Responsive and clear communicator; ability to follow instructions thoroughly and provide follow-up 1+ years’ experience with outward-facing communications in customer care capacity, preferably higher education Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with art and design curriculum offered through Parsons School of Design Familiarity working with varied and diverse populations including, but not limited to, students, parents, faculty and staff members Familiarity with Google Suite Job Family: Parsons Posting Date: 02/07/2025 Closing Date: 05/30/2025 Open Until Filled No Supplemental Questions
