Posting Summary Rutgers School of Public Health (SPH) is seeeking a Student Assistant will work under the supervision of Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at School of Public Health (SPH) located in Piscataway, NJ.

The Student Assistant will assist with research projects addressing metabolic conditions in pregnancy and implications for poor health outcomes across both the pregnant individuals’ and their offspring’s lifecourse. The Student Assistant’s primary responsibility will be performing literature searches, data management, and analyses of datasets with large numbers of records and variables. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a student interested maternal-child health and in developing expertise in data analysis methods for epidemiological research.

Among the duties are: Be highly motivated to obtain a working knowledge of pregnancy physiology, lifecourse epidemiological methods, and the developmental origins of health and disease framework. Perform data management and data analysis with attention to detail. Create tables and figures, and assist with the editing and preparation of manuscripts, publications, reports, and presentations.
