Student Coordinator

Job Summary

The Student Coordinator position is responsible for coordinating student clinical experiences and student outreach and recruitment. The Student Coordinator serves as a liaison between Hendrick Health and schools of various disciplines. The successful Student Coordinator will act as a student champion, promoting a pathway to a successful career in healthcare.

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Associate’s Degree Minimum Work Experience 2 Years Required Licenses/Certifications N/A Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Compile and analyze reports. Compose letters/memorandums. Coordinates schedules. Chairs committees. Use computerized spreadsheets to conduct analysis. Compose applicable policies and procedures. Coordinate meetings. Develop office procedures. Research information. Manage affiliation agreements with approximately 150 institutions. Manage the clearance and clinical scheduling of approximately 2,000 students annually. Manage clearance for observers/shadowers. Administer a new pay-as-you-go tuition assistance program for current employees. Build relationships with regional high schools and middle schools to reach students who are interested in healthcare. Assist with the semi-annual Deans and Directors meetings. Assist with student and faculty orientations. Designated Driver Yes
