The student analyst will be a key member of the Oxford Financial Systems team and will play an integral role on our ongoing process, people, and technology improvement initiatives across the Global Finance & Technology team.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the delivery of projects by working closely with finance and technology professionals and external vendors

Support Data Governance initiatives across the organization, standing up industry best practices for framework in multiple areas

Assist in Data Modeling initiatives, such as developing best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models

Assist in the preparation of process documentation, and reporting

Support project management activities as required (project progress, status, and issues/risk tracking)

Participate in ad hoc initiatives and special projects as required

Aid the Data Engineers in help maintaining the data warehouse

 Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data & Analytics, or a related field

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills

Proficiency in SQL and Python or other programming language.

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines

Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (required); Visio is an asset

Good to have Azure cloud and ETL knowledge

Good to have knowledge on Business Intelligence tools (Power BI)

Prior real estate experience and/or previous experience in a project-based environment is considered an asset
