Nature & Purpose of Position This position’s duties include:

Presenting an introduction to the physics and techniques of the laboratory at the start of each lab. Observing student progress, offering assistance and encouragement as needed. Keeping records of student attendance. Collecting pre-lab work at the start of lab and post-lab reports at the end of the lab period. Replying quickly and effectively to emails from students. Grading all assignments. Turning in grades to instructors in a timely manner. Other Requirements for the Position Student lab assistants must have completed PHYS 1403 and PHYS 1404 and received a B or higher to be considered for this position.
