Posting Details Posting Information Requisition 202400322ST Title Student Employee-KSHU Student Staff-Programming Manager Employee Class Student Position College Work Study Position No Department SHSU Online Division Division of Academic Affairs Hours per week 28 Hiring Rate Preferred Student Classification Nature & Purpose of Position The Programming Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and organizing the content that will be produced by the multimedia studio that will be aired on the KSHU7 television station. They work closely with the production team to ensure that programming aligns with the studio’s goals and audience interests. Other Requirements for the Position KSHU7 Content Strategy: Develop and manage scheduling of KSHU7 content. Collaborates with stakeholders to align broadcasts and content implementation. Ensure compliance with broadcasting guidelines and policies. KSHU7 Content Delivery: Coordinate with producers to ensure timely content creation and delivery. Oversee the selection and curation of multimedia content. Handles media ingestion into Cablecast system to air content. KSHU7 Content Acquisition: Handles outreach with various departments to acquire new content. Research content trends of other stations to plan for future media.
