You will join the The TestFarm team
TestFarm system is used by multiple teams in our organization for test management, execution and review. The system is focused on automated, system level, functional and performance testing of various types of applications supporting both single-machine and multi-machine client-server test execution. It supports execution of other types of tests too (unit tests, web application tests etc).
Test execution can be parallelized to any number of test machines.
The system supports automatic provisioning and load balancing of test VMs, using any OS across any number of isolated team test queues, as well installation and execution on user maintained systems.
On backend we use mostly PHP, JS/NodeJS, Python, communicating with PostgreSQL database (currently around 1TB big); several extra TBs stored in hash-storage. For managing machines Python is deployed and for running services – perl, python, shell. The whole system can be set up locally if needed as we deployed Docker. We release enhancements frequently even in a single day and get immediate feedback from clients.
