The student interns will work alongside seasoned professionals, contributing to real-world projects that aim to enhance resilience and emergency readiness in the water sector. Essential Functions The intern will engage in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: • Assisting in the development and implementation of emergency preparedness plans. • Supporting disaster response operations, including logistical coordination and data analysis. • Participating in internal outreach programs to educate the personnel on emergency and disaster readiness. • Conducting research to support program improvement. • Compiling and presenting reports on trends and hazards in the emergency management space. Other Functions Perform other related duties, as required. Work Environment And Physical Demands Business casual office setting Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities • Proficient in MS Office products, specifically Excel. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
