Position Summary Information
General Summary
TheStudent Intern – Power BI Developmentwill support the Fleet Services Division with reporting models, developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop.
Essential Functions
+ Create interactive Tableau and other BI dashboards for audiences ranging from analysts to executives
+ Utilize Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other technologies along to develop an analysis of impact of complexity changes with SKU rationalization
+ Assist with the development of BI products, applications and systems
+ Provide general administrative support to BI system and platform
+ Act as a resource to by developing basic documents
+ Act as a project point person/interface between other groups

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
+ Proficient in Microsoft Power BI , including report and dashboard creation
+ Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports
+ Able to implement low-level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
+ Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
+ Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction
+ Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions ( DAX ) for creating calculations
+ Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
+ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
+ Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards
+ Demonstrate effective verbal and/or written communication skills
+ Ability to think critically while making decisions
+ Ability to work collaboratively with others
+ Possess strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel
Minimum Education, Experience Requirements
Completion of 2+ years college coursework towards degree in technical discipline, preferably in Computer or Data Science.

Proficient using MS Office applications
Preferences
Third- year Computer or Data Science student is ideal.
