Student Internship - IT - Summer 2025

Your Role  

 

As a Summer IT Intern in Gensler's Washington, D.C. office, you will join our creative studio environment for a full-time, paid internship opportunity.  

 

This is a full-time program running from May 27 through August 14, 2025. You must be available for the entire duration of the program.  
 
What You Will Do 

Work as a member of our help desk team and provide general technology support for end-users 

Troubleshoot and support our workstations, laptops, printers, plotters, video conferencing units and other peripherals 

Maintain and support administrative, graphics and CAD applications in mixed Windows and Macintosh environments 

Perform workstation and telephone additions/moves/changes 

Support documentation, system backup and recovery and application upgrades 

 

Your Qualifications 

 You have completed your first year and are working towards a Bachelor’s degree in the Information Technology or related field Proven troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to disconnect, lift and move PC's and Monitors (50lbs) to new workstations Knowledge of basic desktop troubleshooting, including Windows 10 and Mac OS
