Standing and sitting at computer terminals and laboratory bench completing repetitive tasks for extensive periods of time. Continuous working with materials requiring personal protective equipment in accord with EH&S policy. Shift Primarily Days Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, some evenings and/or weekends are possible Job Summary Laboratory staff position to assist with daily experiments involving mouse studies, genetic sequencing, protein assays, and mouse echocardiography. Employee will be expected to be detail-oriented, dependable, and on time. Daily tasks will include accurate record taking in a daily notebook, establishing a clean and organized laboratory environment, and maintenance of lab equipment. Weekends and holidays may be required occasionally to ensure that long-term experiments that require daily intervention are not interrupted.
