Expectations:
Must be able to work a minimum of 12 hours in a two week period (i.e. 4 hour, 8 hour or 12 hour shifts)Provide a variety of routine tasks and direct patient care to support our patients and our clinical teamsPerforms phlebotomy and 12 lead EKGs as permitted on the assigned unitRemoves urinary catheters and saline locksAnswer call lights and unit phone to assist with questions and concerns from patients and family membersCommunicate, monitor and document pertinent patient information Assist with admission, transfers, transporting, lifting, and discharge of patientsPerform hourly rounding and respond promptly to patients, families, and clinical team requestsWork effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multi-cultural environmentAssist in organization, cleaning, and safety of the unit and patient roomsQualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GEDCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS)Has completed at least one clinical rotation in nursing schoolCurrently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (with verification of enrollment and status)
