Enter the healthcare workforce before graduating nursing school and be paired with a nurse mentor to support your learning. The student nurse apprentice (SNA) is a candidate brought into this program after successfully completing one semester of nursing school. The SNA works under the supervision and/or direction of the Director, Clinical Manager or Professional RN, performs various duties that does not require licensure. The SNA assists Professional RN’s in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures of ShorePoint Health. The SNA observes and reports all pertinent information regarding the patient’s condition to a RN
Requirements:
Currently in the 2nd semester of an accredited RN Nursing School(Jersey students ONLY: Must be currently in 1st semester)Will be considered a SNAP candidate until the candidate has received a Auth. to test & Letter from the Board to practice as a graduate nurse.
