Position Information Position Information Position Availability: Position Title: Student Program Coordinator, India China Institute Requisition Number: 0406073531 Location New York City Position Type: Student Department: Provost/Provost's Office Responsibilities: ICI is looking for a highly motivated TNS student to work part-time with India China Institute. An ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently but also is comfortable collaborating with multiple team members, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask.
In this role, you will support the Institute in all aspects of its public programs management: Maintaining the institute’s website (WordPress based), including updating website content, monitoring and reporting site visits; Designing event posters; Photographing and live video documenting the institute’s activities; Editing and uploading event videos for public viewing; Managing and supporting the institute’s social media, and its expansion efforts; Be the liaison to set up public programs and provide general office support which includes a variety of administrative tasks from filing expense reports and invoices, organizing files, to taking meeting notes, arranging events room setups, and so on and so forth. Work Mode:Hybrid/Split – Employees hired for this position have regularly scheduled, consistent percentage of time on campus (ex 1-4x/week) and also work some of the time remotely.
Pay Range: $16 to $21 per hour. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
Hours per week: Up to 20 hours
Note: Both graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to apply. This position may have high and low weeks of work. At times, it may demand up to 20 hours per week. At other times, it may demand fewer than 10 hours. The candidate must be available to deliver on demand.
