Posting Number NONAC3381 Job Title Student Recruitment Manager Position Title Student Recruitment Manager Position Type Non-Faculty Number of vacancies 1 Salary Commensurate with experience Department Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Affiliates (ADAPA) Position Summary The Student Recruitment Manager More In-Common Alliance (MiCA) role in partnership with the Associate Dean for Admissions at MSM and the Regional Deans will lead the recruitment efforts for medical students in the current planned regional sites: Bakersfield, Lexington, Chattanooga, and Seattle (includes Tacoma and Bremerton). The partnership will spearhead recruitment and outreach initiatives, identify prospective students, and create scholarship strategies and enrollment processes designed to achieve established goals, at all MSM campuses. Minimum Qualifications Education: + Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education. Experience: + Three years of industry work experience in post-secondary education. + An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities has been achieved may be considered. Job Duties Description of Job Duty Within the scope of MSM’s policies and procedures, and in partnership with the Dean of Admissions, Director of Admissions, and Chief Administrative Officer More in Common Alliance (MiCA) this position: + Manages, develops and implements a comprehensive recruitment plan that involves effective prospective student management, targeted recruitment efforts for the regional campuses, including web-based application and delivery, partnerships with feeder schools in the regional campus states, effectively enrolling prospective students, and initiates strategies for student success and retention; + Facilitates both in person and virtual campus tours and weekly information sessions; develops presentations; tracks and manages post session outreach efforts with attendees. + Informs undergraduate students and pre-health advisors regarding the various pathways to medical school. + Supervises assigned staff, including hiring, work assignments, performance management and evaluations; + Makes recommendations regarding process workflows, training and problem resolution; marketing/ MSM collateral purchases within budget; + Provides leadership to the recruitment team; develops and oversees recruitment strategies for the regional campuses internally and externally, creates annual recruitment goals and objectives, and executes those goals, and objectives, in conjunction with MiCA operations staff conduct outreach events in support of the MiCA strategic plan; + Tracks and reports recruitment information, and monitors enrollment progress + Researches and utilizes data and recruitment tools to select prospective populations to target for marketing and recruitment messaging + Attends and represents MSM as needed at recruitment events locally and nationally; + Collaborates with deans, faculty and staff to manage recruiting efforts for integration of prospective students to MSM . + Supports student success strategy by assisting other business units to deliver students success messaging and information + Create an annual budget for travel, events, and collateral purchases in conjunction with the Director of finance and business operations. + Manages spending within budget Pre-Employment/Employment Requirements All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment screenings. Immunization Immunization Requirements It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption.
