The project Critical Exploration of Impacted Communities in Housing
Justice Advocacy and Research in Canada will engage people with direct knowledge of housing precarity and allies, a scan of practices of community and lived knowledge engagements and develop curriculum and training to support community leadership in housing justice work. The R.A. will be expected to contribute to a review of a literature and policy scan, shape data collection tools, and support undertake research activities (data collection, transcription and analysis). Priority will be given to those who have professional or lived experience knowledge of housing and homelessness systems
Qualifications Required (skills and abilities, education, language skills): Students should have the ability to work on tasks independently when needed, and a cursory understanding of literature reviews and qualitative research methods is a plus. Professional or lived experience of housing and homelessness systems is an asset.
