Student Service Representative - Temporary

The Exam Proctor will be responsible for overseeing the administration of exams to ensure they are conducted in a fair and secure manner. This position involves monitoring students during testing, enforcing exam policies, and assisting with any accommodations for students with academic accommodations. Proctors are essential to maintaining a controlled environment and ensuring the integrity of the testing process.

Schedule Requirements:

Candidates must be able to report to work starting at 8:00 a.m.

Some days may require a release time as late as 7 p.m.

Monday, December 2nd to Friday, December 13th.

Proctors will be scheduled based on exam needs, which may include daytime and evening hours.

Flexibility is required, as exam schedules can vary throughout the final exams term.

Primary Responsibilities:

Adhering to established exam policies and procedures.

Secure, distribute, collect, and return all exam materials to the Office of the Law Registrar.

Reading verbal instructions.

Properly timing exams.

Maintain a quiet and controlled environment conducive to testing.

Documenting irregularities and reporting them to the Office of the Law Registrar.

Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all exam content and student information.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Detail-oriented.

Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce rules fairly and consistently.

Ability to maintain focus and monitor multiple students and tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in an academic or testing environment is preferred, but not required.

Ability to handle sensitive student information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Stay awake and alert during long periods of silence.

Education/Experience:

High School degree and minimum 1-2 years’ work-related experience.
