Posting Number NONAC3481 Job Title Student Worker, Peer Navigator Position Title Student Worker Position Type Number of vacancies 1 Salary $15.00 per hour Department Comm Hlth/Prev Med-Ch/Pm Position Summary The peer prevention navigators will work directly with the Lead Prevention Navigator to monitor HIV care and retention for those who test positive. This position monitors those who are referred to PrEP for adherence assisting with data collections and entry and scheduling HIV testing events. The peer prevention navigators will have completed the High School and Young Adult Community Health Workers ( HSYACHW ) housed at MSM . Job Duties Description of Job Duty + In coordinator with the Lead Navigator, make an initial contact with the participant within 2 weeks of program enrollment. + Maintain weekly contact (phone, email) with clients during the first 30 days of the program. + Maintain monthly contact (phone, email) with clients during the program. Immunization Immunization Requirements It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
