Check out and manage sports equipment each night in the Kruse Center during open play.
Assist during intramural sports registration.
Assist with supervision of intramural and recreational participants during games and activities as well as help with game management.
Other duties as assigned. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be Federal Work Study eligible and enrolled as at least a half time student (6 hours) at Blinn College.
Customer service experience and the ability to assist patrons with any needs while using the facility. Preferred Experience and Training CPR/AED and First Aid certification, Experience working in a fitness facility, Experience supervising others.
Knowledge of weight training, sports, including the rules and regulations. Required Degree, License or Certifications Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs. Special Notes To Applicants This is a semester position, that could carry over to the following semester if re-hired. Must be enrolled and taking classes at Blinn College during the fall semester at a minimum of 6 credit hours total. Position Summary Information Objective This student worker position involves all aspects of recreation facilities operations in the Kruse Center; assisting with the supervision of member services, cardio/weight room, athletic events, intramural sports, and other recreation activities.
