What you’ll do

Create and maintain Requests for Quotes for MRP replenishment itemsSupport Contract Lifecycle ManagementP-Card process management and reconciliationSupport/expedite material purchasesInvestigating receiving/invoicing discrepanciesMaterial analysis and data enhancement for Master Data supportComplete warehouse analysis and reporting on an ad hoc basisSupport the Procure-to-Pay process for goods and servicesIdentify cost reductions and mitigate risksSupport vendor setup and contract closeout processesBasic contract negotiations with stakeholder engagement

Who you are

Available to begin work on or around May 5th, 2025 Legal authorization to work in the United StatesAs this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver's License is requiredPrevious experience is considered an assetStrong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practicesStrong verbal and written communication skills

Education 

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in SCM or any Business-related degree (Commerce, Economics, Finance, etc.Preference will be given to students in 3rd or 4th yearAvailability for multiple work terms is preferredStrong academic performanceAbility to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semesterAttached copies of transcriptsMust be enrolled in a 2025 Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work termCandidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities

Working Conditions

May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc. 

Safety Sensitive

This is a safety-sensitive role and as such you will also be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours. Furthermore, you will also be required to pass the Cenovus pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment requirementsSafety sensitive positions require the operation of a motor vehicle. A valid US Driver’s License with no restrictions is a requirement for this role

Relocation

Students moving for their work term may be eligible to receive a lump sum payment to assist with relocation expenses.
