Studio Specialist, Studio Operations (Photographer)

Position Purpose:

The Photographer is responsible for the execution and production demands of lifestyle, silo, and 360 photography, as well as simple videography. 

This position works closely with the Interior Design & Art Direction team, Producers, Set Grips, and Post Production to develop assets utilized in marketing and digital channels. The Photographer role is expected to demonstrate innovative problem-solving solutions, inspired leadership, effective communication and successfully deliver projects on time and within budget. The position requires an aptitude to perform at a high level, independently and with a team. The Photographer must implement advanced lighting techniques and solutions as well as influence set design to increase efficiency and quality.  

Key Responsibilities:

30% - Collaboration - Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure all stakeholders are aligned with company goals and brand standards.70% - Strategy & Execution - Guides the company's creative strategy by managing the development and production of creative content. Uses discretion, independent judgment, and creativity to make key decisions to successfully deliver assets for multiple cross-channel projects. Responsible for utilizing acquired experience and creative expertise, to elevate the brand, overcome challenges, and ensure delivered assets meet the marketing objective scope of work.

Physical Requirements:

Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Working Conditions:

Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or olderMust be legally permitted to work in the United States
 

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of professional, commercial photography experience highly preferred 

Lifestyle, silo, and 360 digital photography experience in a studio environment 

Basic videography in a studio environment 

Capture One software experience 

Digital camera systems experience 

A professional portfolio that demonstrates a working knowledge of digital photography, including lighting, composition, color quality, and strong aesthetics 

Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, agile environment 

Strong attention to detail 

Minimum Education:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
 

Preferred Education:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
