Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Study Hall Monitor will help with:

Checking in/out student athletesMonitoring students Finding resources on campus Responsibilities Open and close the BDAC study lounge at designated times (see below)Monitor check-in/check-out for all student-athletes entering the Library and Learning CenterAssist in the maintenance of an effective learning space in both the BDAC and LLCHelp student-athletes navigate the university systems used for educationSubmit nightly report to Supervisor following the end of study hall to outline any concernsFollow all rules and policies of athletic and library staffMaintain good standing regarding the Student Code of ConductCoordinate with supervisors and other monitors on a weekly basis Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have attended at least some college to the level of SophomoreMaintain a 3.5 semester and overall grade point averageExcellent level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous USU college student familiar with Banner, Canvas, MyUSU, etc. Required Documents

Advertised Salary $9.00 per hour ADA

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.  The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
