Position Summary:
The role will be tasked with the commercial and service responsibility of managing the business at Sub Regional level. Effectively leading Country Manager in India and Local Managers in countries across South East Asia while collaborating with global and regional functional leaders within the matrix organization driving strategic company growth and responsible for the overall business performance:
Reporting to the Regional VP, providing leadership for a group of countries Asia.
P&L responsibility and market development in Asia.
Leadership and development of teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead, direct, and control the activities of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and India so that the sub-region achieves its short and long-term financial and operating objectives as set by the overall corporate business plan.
Establish an overall vision, strategy, and procedures for the sub-region that contribute to the overall corporate plan.
Set, and monitor the country performance against standards and targets in areas such as service and administration efficiency, cost control, sales revenue, legal compliance, and human resource management.
Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop country managers to ensure the sub-region achieves its business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws. Develop and execute business strategies to achieve short and long-term commercial goals by driving business operations, service level and quality.
Responsible for the performance of the transportation, clinical service, and supply (CSS) and related service portfolio offered by the company.
Drives for excellence in understanding the customer and deepening market knowledge.
Reporting to Regional VP, APAC providing market insights and strategic proposals.
Responsible for regulatory affairs management, ability to anticipate new or changing regulations in the industry.
Promote a matrix-oriented mindset and collaboration between departments to achieve sales objectives, portfolio objectives, and compliance on all levels
Maintain positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, all regulatory affairs stakeholders, and authorities.
Lead, motivate, and provide strategic direction to local managers in their duties.
Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated and adhered to.
Assess, manage, and resolve challenges in business objectives.
Building and enhancing the company's public profile at events, and participating in speaking engagements
Builds, leads and develops high performing teams ensuring talent is nurtured and developed, and colleagues reach their full potential – including championing wider APAC colleagues, not just colleagues under direct management.

Experience and Educational Requirements:
Master or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, science, engineering, commerce, economics, pharmacy, or other health-related discipline. Master’s degree is a plus
Relevant direct pharmaceutical industry experience in transport, distribution or healthcare logistics
At least 10 years of leadership experience and a proven track record in achieving company objectives and goals
Possess good understanding and relationship in local regulatory affairs
Demonstrable commercial leadership and evidence of growing revenue and ownership of P&L
Has strong leadership presence and capability, and demonstrable experience in leveraging the expertise and knowledge of large globally diverse teams with a strong emphasis on coaching and learning
Passion for the market and the customer, and proven experience in building and nurturing relationships
Ability to operate across a matrix organization; able to deliver results through vision and influence, as much as through line management authority
Will own and evolve the strategy for client excellence, aligning it with the business' current needs and also taking into account the growing complexity and demands of the market
Has a general Merger & Acquisition experience in the corporate environment is a plus
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:
Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
Ability to drive performance, build alignment, influence and execute.
Strong organizational, analytical, situational leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, spokesperson, and representational skills
Ability to work under pressure, including the ability to manage deadlines, multiple tasks, and complete demands.
Profound knowledge of the local pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics market.
Must have language fluency in English.
