Job Title: SubassemblerJob Description

As a Subassembler, you'll play a crucial role in our production process, working with mechanical and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies. You'll use your skills in hand soldering, wire-processing, and workplace organization to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly Work: Complete mechanical and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies using written instructions and CAD drawings.Hand Soldering: Perform precise hand soldering tasks.Wire Processing: Cut, strip, crimp, and tin wires with accuracy.Lean Projects: Participate in workplace organization and Lean integration projects.Team Support: Assist other departments as needed.Essential SkillsExperience: 3-5 years in mechanical or electrical assembly, with at least 1 year in sub-assembly work.Tool Proficiency: Skilled with hand tools and torque wrenches.Soldering Knowledge: Experienced in soldering electrical/electronic components.Independence: Ability to work independently from blueprints, sketches, and instructions.Reliability: Regular attendance and punctuality.Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Professionalism: Demonstrated initiative, integrity, and teamwork.Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of Lean concepts for continuous improvement.Language Skills: Proficiency in English for reading and interpreting documents.Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers.Additional Skills & QualificationsElectronic Equipment: Experience with multi-meters and portable signal sources is a plus.Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime as needed.Why Work Here?Comprehensive Benefits: Health Care, 401(k) & Profit Sharing Plan, Tuition Assistance, Life Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability, Vacations & Paid Holidays.Professional Environment: Work in a supportive, professional setting with annual company events and a wellness program.Growth Opportunities: Continuous improvement through Lean integration.Work EnvironmentSchedule: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4:00pm).Location: Newtown, Pennsylvania.Overtime: Regular overtime may be required based on business demands.Job TypePermanent PositionIf you're ready to take your career to the next level and join a company that values your skills and dedication, apply today!
