THE WORK
The selected candidate will be a Subcontract Administrator (SCA) supporting multiple programs across the C4ISR Market Segment, supporting the cost, schedule, and technical performance aspects for supply chain content in multiple programs and proposals. This role includes collaboration with a team of seasoned procurement professionals across multiple progress, and the selected candidate will gain firsthand experience managing large subcontracts throughout their entire life cycle—starting from proposal phases, through execution, and into closeout. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your procurement expertise and grow into the responsibility of managing high-value subcontracts. The selected candidate will collaborate with program teams and procurement specialists and act as a Subcontract Administrator for various programs and multiple contract types. The selected candidate will participate in the entire LM Acquisition process, starting with researching and evaluating potential suppliers, soliciting suppliers, reviewing proposals, negotiating, administrating contracts, supporting the management of supplier performance, and performing closeout activities.
Travel may be required in support of proposal or program activities.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

- Experience with one of the following: procurement/buying, purchase orders, supplier proposals, managing supplier/customer relationships and/or negotiations

- Experience with Microsoft Office

- US DoD industry experience

- Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
Desired Skills:
Experience with LM procurement systems and processes
Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

Works independently and in a collaborative and team-based environment

Experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities

Experience with analyzing problems and recommending solutions

Adapts to change

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $55,100 - $105,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
