WHAT WE'RE DOING
Sub Contract Administrator Sr will be responsible for managing the procurement process for the Commercial Aftermarket Non-Product responsible for $20M annual spend with Sikorsky Suppliers.
supplier relationships, negotiating and managing major subcontracts, on-boarding and qualifying new suppliers, and supporting Commercial Aftermarket Non-Product material and services from our supply base.
THE WORK
Specific roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Manage supplier relationships, negotiating and managing major subcontracts, on-boarding and qualifying new suppliers
o Management of critical, time-sensitive and complex issues including; proposal evaluations, contract documentation, modifications for contract changes.
o Will assist in the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services
o Candidate should be proficient in SAP P1S Purchasing System.
o Manage the procurement cycle from RFQ to payment of invoice
o Candidate should have experience with Purchase Requisitions, Request for Proposals, Terms and Conditions and Negotiations.
o Candidate should have a demonstrated ability of understanding terms and conditions, supply chain management, legal and programs to successful negotiate a purchase agreement.
o Negotiate pricing and contractual terms including implementing Long Term Agreements for a range of commodities
o Manage international and domestic supplier relationships and performance
o Achieve 100 % on time delivery to all customers
o Achieve required year over year cost savings

Basic Qualifications:
• Responsible for a wide variety of purchasing related functions including sourcing, cost and price evaluation, negotiations, and order placement.
• Supply Management experience required
• Experience in negotiating and communication with all levels of internal and supplier management is necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Understanding of the principals of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement process and tools.
Desired Skills:
BA/BS degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level. Working knowledge of SAP, drawings/technical data, process improvement techniques and cost analysis
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and manage supplier relationships.
Strong working knowledge of Sikorsky product, quality and manufacturing processes
Maintain strong internal customer relationships
Attention to detail, enjoy complex problems, excellent communication and organization skills, project management, negotiation skills
Problem prioritization / resolution / adaptability skills
Experience in finance, cost/price analysis, schedule analysis, budgeting, and negotiations
