Overview

Are you a person who enjoys making positive, tangible changes that improve the overall quality of a product or process? Do you have a passion for ensuring compliance on supplier cost, schedule, and performance criteria? Are you a data-driven individual? If so, then maybe you would be a great fit for our Subcontract Procurement and Compliance Specialist.

This position is part of the Quality and Regulatory Affairs department and is an onsite position.
 

Primary responsibilities include:

Responsible for supporting the development, negotiating, and administering of complex and high-risk subcontracts.Ensuring compliance on supplier cost, schedule, legal, and performance criteria.Addressing material related issues pertaining to new program development and serves as a focal point for varied government outsourcing projects.Ensuring compliance to Federal Acquisition Regulations.Reports on Small Business Subcontracting Activities.
 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or related field (finance, law/contract law; program management), or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through five or more years of increasingly responsible experience in contract administration or procurement including two or more years of high-level project and customer/supplier management.Experience working with gov't or military contracts required.Certificate in Purchasing Management (CPM) or Contracts Management and prior international subcontracting experience desired.
