GILBANE is seeking to hire a Subcontracts Administrator to support our Federal Business unit.  This person would be assigned to our Jacksonville, FL office, but could also work from our offices in Englewood, CO or Concord, CA.  Are you looking for remote work opportunities?  Let's talk about it.

Responsibilities Assist in the prequalification of subcontractors and bidders, coordination of assigned subcontract packages, tracking of subcontract activityProcurement of lower value, construction, professional and technical servicesChange order processing, contractual compliance, invoice review, verification and approval, and performance evaluationCompliance with established policies and procedures.Compliance with established business ethics and conduct principles related to procurement Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum 0-3 years of experienceOr equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Acquires basic understanding of the assigned business unit clients, projects and functional organizationsAcquires basic understanding of the project delivery processes and Federal procurement policies and proceduresAcquires basic understanding of federal government contractual compliance requirementsAcquires basic understanding of terms and conditionsAcquires basic understanding of competitive, sole source procurementsAcquires basic understanding of cost and price analysisGood verbal communications and writing skillsCommunicates effectively with subcontractors, project teams, and support organizationsProficient user of Microsoft Office softwareBecomes proficient in procurement systems and tools (i.e. CMiC)

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    
For California this ranges from $64,400.00-$88,600.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
For Colorado this ranges from $58,100.00-$79.900.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
