**Worker Type** Regular **Job Description** **Summary** Subcontracts Administrator I support the senior subcontracts team in the management of various procurement and subcontracting activities for government and commercial programs. This role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance. **Position Responsibilities:** + Provide cradle to grave administrative support for the preparation, issuance, and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and subcontract agreements. + Assist in tracking subcontractor and internal deliverables, ensuring compliance with contract terms, schedules, and budgets. + Maintain and update procurement files, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and government regulations. + Support invoice review and reconciliation processes, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors as needed. + Participate in subcontract negotiations alongside senior staff to develop terms and conditions. + Assist in preparing reports, metrics, and presentations to support team objectives and decision-making. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address subcontractor issues and support program needs. + Perform additional duties as required by senior subcontracts administrators and management. + Other duties as assigned **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):** + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). + 0-2 years of relevant experience in procurement, subcontracts, or supply chain management (internship experience is a plus). + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. + Basic understanding of procurement or contracting principles (FAR/DFARS). + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). **Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies:** + Preferable knowledge of FAR/DFARS contracts principles. + Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives + Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products + Is committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve and enhance performance of oneself, others, and the company + Focuses on teamwork and puts the success of the team above one's own interests Physical Demands: + Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment (Constant) + Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent) Special Requirements: + **_U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or_** _asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required._ + **O** ccasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S. The salary range for this role is: $54,593 - $77,385 AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills. **ITAR Requirement:** _T_ _his position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
