Subcontracts Administrator Sr. Advisor

We’re looking for a Subcontracts Administrator Sr. Advisor to provide support and subject matter expertise related to the subcontract life cycle (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Subcontract Negotiation, Purchase Orders and Closeout.


HOW A SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR SR. ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Develops, negotiates, and administers assigned NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, and other related agreements in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and proceduresActively participates in the capture process which includes pricing and scheduling strategy, communicating with the subcontractor teammates regarding data calls assessing the responses received, and coordinating communications between subcontracts stakeholdersEnsures timely processing of subcontract negotiations for fair and reasonable pricing as well as terms and conditions with assistance from management and input from relevant stakeholdersCreates and maintains compliant audit files in accordance with customer requirements and GDIT policies and proceduresProvides advice and interpretation of subcontract requirements and generates reports for stakeholders as requiredServes as a liaison facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues, escalating potential issues to managementCoordinates with program managers and all matrixed organizations to ensure subcontract requirements are fulfilledMay provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced subcontract administratorsMaintains current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practices and may provide guidance and/or task leadership to less-experienced subcontract administratorsInitiates and maintains an extensive network of communication with both internal and external customersParticipates in and/or manages special projects as requiredProvide Transition proposal presentation to Sector teams prior to subcontract awardDocuments all actions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company policy.Supports new business activities including issuing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreements (TA), soliciting subcontractor proposals, negotiating subcontractor pricing, and evaluating proposal submissionsPerforms analyses on proposed subcontractor pricing to ensure price reasonablenessProvides advice and interpretation of contract requirementsExpected to coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionalsMay serve as a team or task lead.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of degree, 14+ years of related experience within Subcontracts Administration required.Experience: 10+ years of related experience within Subcontracts AdministrationRequired Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and SharePointRequired Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned subcontracts, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS. Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes involved in subcontract administration.Location: This is a hybrid role working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. Must be comfortable going onsite 3 days a week minimum.Clearance: None requiredDue to the nature of the work performed and access to restricted data, US Persons required
