Subcontracts Lead Administrator , GPS (Government & Public Services)
Position Summary

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Federal Contracts and Subcontracts Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations and commercial contracting principles. This role requires expert proficiency in managing personal portfolios and advising account teams on contract administration matters.

The Team:

The GPS Contracts Sector Team has practitioners across the US and India supporting all prime contract management needs for our internal and external clients.

Operational Excellence provides business and operational support that enables the GPS Consulting and Advisory practices to deliver exceptional client service. We also play a critical role in driving meaningful operational change as the GPS business continues to evolve. Working in collaboration with our leaders, we are reimagining the future of operations by fundamentally redesigning services and incorporating new technologies that will propel GPS into the future.

Work You’ll Do

Serve as a trusted business advisor to account teams on all aspects of Federal contract administration.Handle complex and strategic high-value subcontract matters that directly impact the firm's revenue generation and retention.Exercise independent judgment and analysis to identify and resolve significant issues.Provide advisory-level subcontract support to account leadership, shaping and strengthening win strategies on Federal engagements.Conduct strategic subcontract negotiations and ensure the completion of various subcontract projects.Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with strategic subcontract companies.

Skills and Qualifications:

Review and analyze subcontract matters to inform team strategies and ensure comprehensive understanding.Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams on various tasks.Compile and analyze subcontract-related data, enter data into multiple internal databases, and maintain historical information and documentation.Proactively identify and resolve subcontracting issues, managing standard and routine subcontract activities.Keep teams fully informed on all subcontract standards, plans, and policies.Develop and maintain subcontract files in accordance with applicable governmental regulations and Deloitte's procurement policies and practices.Ensure timely filing and reporting of subcontract data entry into various systems and monitor data updates.

Required:

Bachelor's degree (preferably Accounting, Finance, or Business)Minimum 6 years of subcontracts administration experienceExtensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and commercial contracting principles.Proven experience in managing personal portfolios and advising on contract administration.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience purchasing hardware and software or SaaS solutions, and other IT related productsExperience with the Federal Acquisition LifecycleExperience managing multiple contract types (e.g. T&M, FFP, FFP/LOE, CPFF, CPIF, CPAF,) and solicitation types (e.g. FAR Parts 8 and 16).Ability to travel 10%, on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveMust be legally authorized to work in the United Stated without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

 Preferred:

CPSR experienceExperience supporting Department of Defense subcontractsAdvanced degree and/or master's certificate NCMA: CFCM, CCCM, or CPCM.Deep knowledge of Federal (FAR) Contracting regulations or policies, depending on account Contracting regulations.Experience working with either Federal government procurementsDemonstrated experience in negotiating, and leveraging value added reseller agreementsDemonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointStrong consultative skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively and work collaboratively with teams

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,400 - $148,000

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
