Job Title: Subcontracts Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontracts Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of subcontract administration. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong negotiation skills and extensive experience in subcontract management and procurement.

ResponsibilitiesObtain RFI quotes and determine fairness of pricing.Conduct monthly and quarterly spending analysis for support services received/to be received.Lead the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, RFIs, and terms and conditions for the procurement of support services.Monitor OEM performance and track progress to ensure compliance with all subcontract flow downs, terms and conditions, including schedule and delivery, scope of work, and cost/price elements.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure the status of subcontracts is communicated to Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager, as well as Executive Leadership, if needed.Additional duties may be assigned.Essential SkillsSubcontract administrationDFARNegotiationSubcontract managementSubcontractsSubcontractor managementContract administrationContract negotiationProgram managementFARAdditional Skills & QualificationsAssociate’s degree in business administration, contract management, or equivalent experience.Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, contract negotiations, and subcontract management.10+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.Ability to develop or build upon relationships with Prime and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure communication flow and team cohesion.Experience identifying risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.Knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFAR (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) and flow down requirements as it relates to contracts management.Knowledge of contract pricing principles, and the ability to apply sound judgment to contract formation, negotiation, execution, and customer relationships.Ability to work independently and make independent decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts.Work Environment

The role requires one day on-site at APG, specifically on Wednesdays. The rest of the work can be done remotely.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $62.50/hr.
