System One is seeking a highly experienced professional with expertise in Occupational Safety/Industrial Hygiene for a long-term hybrid/remote role in Los Alamos, NM. This role involves managing and directing the daily tasks essential for supporting design, construction, startup, and/or operations/maintenance of complex, high-technology systems or projects.


Responsibilities:
 

Manages and directs daily tasks for ongoing support of design, construction, startup, and/or operations/maintenance of complex high-tech systems or projects. Provides expert opinions on engineering and technical issues and offers recommendations for project design, proper controls, and works with construction teams in specific areas of expertise. Conducts independent reviews and assessments in specialized areas of expertise. Provides guidance to project teams to deliver results on complex, high-technology projects. Interfaces with management personnel and customer representatives. Develops and enforces work standards, assigns schedules, reviews work quality, and communicates goals, objectives, and organizational policies to subordinates. Provides leadership for the project team, coordinates with functional organizations, and supervises senior personnel within the project organization.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  Master’s degree in engineering, Science, or Business Management. 12 years of directly applicable experience in a specialized technical field, recognized as an expert in Occupational Safety/Industrial Hygiene. Ability to obtain a DOE "Q" clearance.
