Job Overview The role of the SME -VTC is to provide day-to-day engineering support for a variety of leading efforts for audio video networks for NIWC. Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: VTC Specialist with experience in the operation, maintenance, and installation of video teleconferencing (VTC) systems, particularly within the Naval Forces Central Command. expertise in ensuring optimal system functionality through meticulous installation protocols and preventive maintenance routines. Tracking of task specific operational data, Operational efficiency of the commands SCI, Secret, Coalition Secret, Cross Domain, Controlled Unclassified Information, and Commercial VTC resources for conferences directly supporting the NAVCENT/C5F Commander, Department Heads, staff, subordinate Commanders, and their units. Development of technical specifications, Statements of Work (SOW) and related Government Cost Estimations (GCE) for telecommunications procurement contracts. Support technical documentation. Configuring and troubleshooting technical issues associated with AV controllers in accordance with the DoD I 8100.04 and have experience with DoD processes for configuring circuits. Developing PITCO and SOVT Plan documents. Job Requirements Mandatory Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED. Ten (10) years of Military Communications experience CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner CASP+ Code: 7K50QYXNPH441T5D AMX Technician (Networked AV) – Level I Must be able to attain a Secret clearance. Must be willing to travel. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and able to provide driving record upon request.
