Job Description:

Develops requirements from project’s inception to its conclusion for a particular IT subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems). Assists other project members with analysis evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture; networking; telecommunications; automation; communications protocols; risk management/electronic analysis; software; life-cycle management; software development methodologies; and modeling and simulation.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Provide the bridge between Mission end users of the systems to be delivered and those who are architecting engineering and/or developing the system.  

Support the development, review, and analysis of Mission CONOPs, requirements, scenarios, and use cases that accurately reflect end users’ needs. 

Assist project members with analysis, evaluation, and preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimizations, development, and maintenance efforts.  

Support information management transformation. 

Maintain cognizance of all operational requirements, ensuring that the spirit of the requirements is preserves across programmatic and acquisition activities.  

Articulate/white board ideas to all levels of management. 

Provide lifecycle sustainment support.  

 

Skills: 

Experience with CITRIC, VMWare Firewalls, and Exchange at the Tier 3 level  

Experience displaying skill areas including operating systems (Windows, UNIX, LINUX), Virtual Desktops (Citrix, VMWare), User Management and Permissions, (Active Directory, Centrify) 

Extensive knowledge of M365 

Knowledge of full lifecycle management techniques testing, integration, change management, security and authentication services 

Experience conducting configuration management on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solutions 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills  

Extensive Project Management experience  

 

 

Qualifications: 

Must have one of the following DoD approved certifications to meet the category/level IAT-2 (DD 8570) requirement for this position:  Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, GCIH, or GCED. 

Required Education & Experience: High School/GED (+20) years of relevant experience. AD (+15) years of relevant experience. BA/BD (+10) years of relevant experience. Master's degree (+5) years of relevant experience, or PHD (+3) years of relevant experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $176,800 - $239,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
